Broderick humbly began teaching bible study at Thomas Chapel A.M.E. Zion church, where he was a member for the first twenty-three years of his life.

In 1984 God led him to More Than Conquerors Faith Church where he served for ten wonderful years in numerous leadership and staff positions (Singles Minister, Youth Pastor, Administrator of School, Book Store Manager, Director of Counseling, Fellowships, and Education, and Senior Board Ministry), all of which prepared him for the extensive work that would come later in his life.

In 1986 Broderick received his ministerial license and in 1994 received his certificate of ordination.

In May, 1994, God prompted him to begin a ministry in the eastern area of Birmingham.

In June, 1994 Integrity Bible Church was founded by Pastor Hennington the visionary and senior pastor where he serves full-time. Integrity Bible Church emphasis is Ephesians 4:12 that Integrity Bible Church would be a ministry of preparation and preservation; a ministry of increase; a ministry of Greatness!

In February, 2011 Pastor Hennington received the annual salute of Outstanding African Americans by the Metro Birmingham Branch of the NAACP.

In July, 2012, Pastor Hennington was conferred upon and received induction into the office of Apostleship.

Pastor Hennington has served as mentor for the City School Systems under the Adoption School Program. He has appeared and hosted numerous programs with the local Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN).

Pastor Hennington and his loving and supportive wife (Venandee) has been married since 1983 and have one daughter (Valiance Serean). Pastor Hennington exemplifies Godly character and integrity and firmly believes in operating in a standard of excellence for God.
