Church History
Every story has a beginning. This is ours…
In May of 1994, God prompted Pastor Broderick Hennington to start a new work in the Eastern area of Birmingham. God gave him the name “Integrity Bible Church” and a mandate from Ephesians 4:12 that Integrity Bible Church would be a ministry of preparation and preservation; a ministry of increase; a ministry of Greatness!
The ministry is ordained to teach people to preserve a standard of purity, honesty, sincerity, holy living, and respect for Christian life and ministry. The ministry is dedicated to helping individuals fulfill their purpose in life by teaching them to govern their lives after the Word of God.
Pastor Hennington founded Integrity in June of 1994. The church held its first service in the banquet rooms of the Sheraton Civic Center Hotel, Birmingham, Alabama July 3, 1994. After two months at the Sheraton Hotel, the church moved into a church located in Tarrant City. In 2003, the church moved to its current location – 216 Roebuck Drive in Birmingham’s Roebuck community.
The ministry has many programs that are designed for perfecting the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edification of the body of Christ, for the ministry of outreach through evangelism and for the education of young minds through the Integrity Christian Academy School Ministry (ICA).
